European Traditional House Plan

European Traditional House Plan

Displaying handsome European influence with a steep hipped roof and arched windows, Traditional House Plan 50248 would be an attractive choice for a housing development or private property. Inside, we have 4012 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms with wide hallways and entryways which make this one of our wheelchair accessible plans. Come home to a wraparound front porch supported by columns on stone bases and enter through an elegant set of French doors. Designed as a hillside home, the rear is equipped with a walkout basement, providing covered patio space at ground level. Above, the screened porch is a lofty place to relax outside and enjoy the wildlife in your backyard or watch the kids sled down the hill in the winter.

50248-P2In the foyer, pine floors are complemented by an impressive stone arch into the dining room. The study opens to the side porch with a set of French doors. The master suite is equipped with an expansive walk in closet, whirlpool tub and modern walk in shower. Upstairs, the younger generation will be pleased that a private full bathroom can be found in each room!

The center of activity for a family is always the kitchen, and this one does not disappoint! The shiny, marble topped island counter is at just the right height for family50248-P3 members to lean their elbows on it while they talk about their day. Slate floors and rich wooden cabinetry make for luxurious surroundings. We love the rounded arch of the window over the sink and the sections of brick flooring. A bowed window dresses up the casual breakfast room, and we have a back door inviting us out to the porch.

50248-P4On everyone’s wish list is a recreation room. Men love their man caves, teenagers crave a place to hang out with their friends, and the whole family would enjoy having a media room downstairs. From the photograph, you can see that this particular homeowner has finished the space to be a sunny billiards room with a wet bar in the corner. Use the display garage to store classic vehicles or turn it into a fitness room. Collectibles are shown in built in bookcases at the foot of the staircase. Future expansion can be made for a guest or in law suite.
