Choose Your Favorite Lake House Plan
Lake House Plan 78878 offers 1536 square feet of living space with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Built on a peaceful lakeside lot, this design makes the perfect place to “get away from it all” for the weekend. With the pile foundation, you also have the option to build by the ocean where storms could bring unexpected high tides.
The master bedroom is located in the loft upstairs along with a full bathroom and walk in closet. Downstairs is a second bedroom which might serve as a guestroom for your hunting or fishing partner.
French doors lead to the front porch where you will enjoy the water view, and the interior layout allows you to enjoy the view from the living room while you are warmed by the wood stove. Right off the dining area is an angled kitchen with bar seating.
Located at the rear of the home is a full bath and a utility which serves as a mud room and laundry.
For larger families or vacation gatherings, see House Plan 78879 with 2327 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The front deck is flanked by two outdoor staircases, and the exterior is done with rustic cedar shake siding. Stepping in from the deck will give you access to the two covered screen porches, one off the breakfast room and one off the master bedroom.
The family room is central to the design, and it’s open to the kitchen and breakfast room. From the kitchen, pass through a pocket door to a large laundry room with utility sink.
Bedroom 2 is on the main floor with a private bathroom, and the master suite is equipped with built-in bookcases, a huge walk in closet and en suite with water closet, double sinks and shower. Two more bedrooms are available upstairs with a shared bathroom.
Lake House Plan 78880 has 3128 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Meant for a sloping lot, the rear features a double staircase and wide screen porch to face the water.
On the main level is an open arrangement for the family room, kitchen and breakfast area. A powder room serves guests right off the foyer. The bedrooms, both upstairs and down, are arranged as we saw in the previous plan.
The basement is a combination of garage and living space. The living space includes a bathroom and kitchenette, making it perfect for a family rec room or a small rental unit.

For me i would chooses Lake House Plan 78880, for the only reason that this plan is huge and because it has 3128 square feet of living space and wide screen porch to face the water, because in this way you will have a beautiful view of the lake every day.
Also the something else that i likes is the basement because it is a combination of garage and living space.
