We love the modern / rustic style of House Plan 75140 with its iron handrails on the porch and tapered stone bases for the pillars. A trellis connects the detached garage from the 985 square foot, cottage sized home. This design would make a great full time residence for a small family or a comfortable guest house on a larger property. There’s plenty of outdoor living space with the porch on the front and terrace and sun deck in the rear.
From the entry, we walk into a large space shared by the kitchen and living room. Here we enjoy a fireplace and a generous island where you have your morning coffee or casual meals. The guest bathroom is shared with the master bedroom on this level. Upstairs is a game room, smaller bedroom and bath with shower. For additional living space, you could choose a basement foundation and have it finished much like the upstairs arrangement.

living space with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Not often seen in contemporary homes, you will be swept away by the two story ceiling and curved staircase as soon as you walk in the door. To the right is an open dining room which is outlined with a special ceiling treatment and a column detail marking the border of the great room.
The great room and kitchen seem to form a vast, open space. This design shows the perfect use of space as you can turn into the mud room for passage to the powder room, coat closet, organized bench and locker corner and exit to the three car garage. Bonus rooms include a huge pantry and private office.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has not only a runway-inspired walk in closet, but also has a sitting room. Bedroom 2 has a private bath while bedrooms 3 and 4 share a bath with double sinks. The laundry is located conveniently in the hallway.
