However, there is also the option to purchase the 2×6 wall upgrade if you live in a colder climate and want more insulation in your walls. Speaking of standard features, this plan calls for a slab or crawlspace foundation, but there are other options. For example, choose the unfinished in-ground basement option or the walk-out basement option. If you choose to finish the basement, your living space will significantly increase.<\/p>\n

As drawn, the plan has 2,500 square feet of living space, and we love the open concept of the shared spaces. Walk into the home through a set of double doors, and you are greeted with a lovely vaulted ceiling with decorative beams. The great room is anchored by a cozy wood burning fireplace, and you can set a large farmhouse style table between the great room and kitchen.
