The best of both worlds meet in House Plan 57002<\/a><\/strong>, which offers the beautiful curb appeal of a century-old southern cottage combined with a contemporary floor plan that is designed with the needs of a modern family in mind. Tall windows and a deep porch with Victorian trim recall old house charm, and a sleek metal roof with brick foundation and steps complete the exterior of this up-to-date plan. Manicured landscaping and a white picket fence only add to the attractiveness of this 2,457 square foot Gulf Coast Cottage.<\/p>\n

Entertaining<\/strong><\/p>\n

Upon entering, your guests are ushered into a two-story foyer and through a center hall that leads back to the great\"57002-P1\"<\/a> room. A fireplace and vaulted ceiling lend a traditional touch to this open and welcoming space. Built-in bookshelves and cabinets can hold a television, photos and family keepsakes. Elegant French doors provide an inviting view of the terrace\/deck area and allow for plenty of natural light. A bar separates the kitchen from the dining room, keeping the host\/hostess close to the guests during meal preparation. Moving into the separate dining room brings an element of formality to the entertainment.<\/p>\n

Family<\/strong><\/p>\n

The master bedroom, measuring 17’8″ x 14’4″, takes up much of the main floor and is accompanied by a generous bathroom and deep walk-in closet.
