Traditional elements of the grand old homes of the South greet you upon first glance at this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house plan. In the South, the double porches are more accurately referred to as verandas. In the days before air conditioning, the verandas protected the interior from the harsh rays of the sun, and they also lend to the opulent appearance of the home. Tall, narrow windows are positioned with perfect symmetry, and ceiling fans invite you and your guests to sit down and enjoy a glass of sweet tea.<\/p>\n

Historic homes are known for having many closed spaces, but here you will find a modern, open living space. A large fireplace serves as the focal point in the family room, and double French doors leading to the back veranda are a luxurious addition.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Your family will enjoy gathering at the large island in the kitchen, and the cook will be impressed by the 14′ pantry!<\/p>\n

The master suite is located privately in the rear of the home. We love the vaulted ceiling and the convenient door which leads out to the back veranda. The en suite includes a double vanity, tub, separate shower, water closet and two walk-in-closets.<\/p>\n

Also included on the main floor is the study, powder room and utility room.<\/p>\n

An upstairs loft is open to the family room below, and there is plenty of space to add a pool table! From here, a door opens to the back balcony. Move down the hallway for access to additional space over the garage. The bonus room measures 13’4″ x 21’8″. How would your family use this extra space?<\/p>\n

Completing the upper level, we have two children’s bedrooms which share a Jack and Jill bathroom. Each child has access to the upper floor balcony.<\/p>\n
