Double porches grace the front elevation of this new narrow lot house plan design. From bedroom 3 upstairs, you can access the upper level porch through a set of glass French doors.<\/p>\n

The arrangement of the front entry is reminiscent of a formal foyer with a tiled floor and coat closet creating separation from the open living space.\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The living space flows well from a cozy gathering around the fireplace to the breakfast counter at the kitchen to the dining area which offers plenty of space for a large table.<\/p>\n

The entry area is separated from the living room with tile flooring and includes the staircase, a coat closet and powder room. In older designs, the entry would have been walled off as a hallway, but modern designs leave the area open and eliminate those dark spaces often found in older homes. If you opt for a basement foundation, the second closet will become your basement staircase.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The L-shaped kitchen includes a large island with an area to sit down and talk to the cook. The kitchen location allows unobstructed sight lines to watch the kids in the living room, and windows over the sink allow the parent to keep an eye on children who may be outside on the deck.<\/p>\n
