Brand new this week is European Tudor House Plan 81188<\/strong><\/a> with 6,045 SQ FT, 4 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The exterior is modern with clean lines of stone and stucco, but it also has a \u201cstorybook\u201d appearance with flared eaves on the gables. The two story entry has a barrel vaulted ceiling and French doors. A covered veranda is off to the right\u2014here you can arrange outdoor seating which won\u2019t obstruct the daily traffic going in and out of the home.<\/p>\n

Inside, the foyer is very traditional because it is spatially divided from the rest of the house. Long hallways head to the right and left, each side lined with closet space for coats, etc. Notice the wall dividing the foyer from the dining room\u2014it\u2019s the perfect place to make a statement with a large oil painting or a mural. Opposite this wall is the china cabinet in the dining room.<\/p>\n

The luxury kitchen, dining room and great room are arranged together as an open space, satisfying the modern preference for an \u201copen concept\u201d design. In the great room is a fireplace and special ceiling treatments. Around the corner is a den with a bow window that looks out to the front of the property. The den can also function as an office, and it has a surprise feature\u2014a cabinet can swing\u00a0open as the entrance to a hidden storage area measuring 9\u2019 x 6\u2019!<\/p>\n

Behind the kitchen, we have another staircase, an elevator and a hallway connecting a series of informal rooms that make up the right wing of the house. The flex room would make a great office or guest bedroom. The walk-in pantry\u00a0has ample space for counters and cabinets, and right next door is an additional storage room. One back door leads to the screened porch and the other to your mud room. The mud room is very functional as it includes a walk-in coat closet, sink and even a dog bath! Pet lovers will really appreciate the covered dog run which can be accessed from the garage, the porch or the back yard.<\/p>\n

Upstairs, we find 4 bedrooms and a flex room that could be finished to have a total of 5. The master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and a door to the covered balcony. The master ensuite has all the features you would expect in a luxury home: double vanities, tub, shower and private water closet. The massive walk-in closet measures 7\u2019 x 24\u2019 and opens to a convenient laundry room.
