New Luxury Craftsman House Plan 43228<\/a> <\/strong>has 3,922 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The exterior is a combination of siding, cedar shingles and stone. Decorative wooden designs in the gables really lend to the home\u2019s character. The entry greets you with a rustic porch, and the front door is surrounded by windows which allow plenty of light into the foyer.<\/p>\n

Directly ahead is the dining space where you can easily fit a table for 10. Many will appreciate that the dining table is situated in the open space between the kitchen and living room. This arrangement makes it easy to cook, serve and socialize without ever being too far from your guests.<\/p>\n

The large fireplace is a great focal point in the living room. Surround it with built-ins and plush furniture for a wonderful oasis to come home to. From the living room, there is a pocket door entrance to a small but adequate office.<\/p>\n

Nobody likes an enclosed kitchen anymore, but it\u2019s difficult to incorporate cabinets when you remove too many walls. This kitchen offers the best of both worlds. There is plenty of wall for cabinets, but we still have wide passageways to the dining room and hallway. A back door to the porch increases the feeling of \u201copenness\u201d for the kitchen. Special features include an island, fireplace and pantry.<\/p>\n

The back porch is a real treat because you can hang out behind the screen and avoid the bugs, or you can get some sunshine and warmth in front of the outdoor fireplace. Notice that the master bedroom has its own little private section of porch on the other end.<\/p>\n

Your overnight guests will be very comfortable in the front bedroom which has a walk-in closet, sitting area and a \u00be bathroom.<\/p>\n

You might not have \u201cluxury laundry room\u201d on your wish list, but you might find that it\u2019s a lot less of a chore to do laundry in a place like this! The laundry room does double duty as a mud room entrance from the garage. You have a place to hang your coats when you come in, and the working side has a great utility sink and a counter to make folding easier.<\/p>\n

In the master bedroom and en suite, enjoy abundant closet space, double sinks, private water closet, shower and whirlpool tub.<\/p>\n

The kids upstairs share a jack and jill bathroom, and they might take over the storage area and make it into a fort. You can also install a second washer and dryer to save yourself from hauling laundry baskets up and down the stairs.<\/p>\n
