Ranch House Plan 62627<\/strong><\/a> has 1539 square feet of living space and a 3 bay garage. Off the back of the home are two bay windows to bring in natural light and provide a view of the children kicking a soccer ball in the backyard.\u00a0 The average family has no use for a formal dining room, and subsequently this plan leaves room for the dinner table right outside the kitchen. The living room features a fireplace and is separated from the kitchen only by a breakfast counter. An interesting feature of the kitchen- the pantry is designed to appear as a simple cabinet, but behind the cabinet doors is a hidden walk-in pantry (some call it a \u201cbootleg pantry\u201d). Ceilings in the living room, kitchen, dining room, foyer and master suite are all vaulted, adding volume and a perception of spaciousness to the rooms. Two walk<\/p>\n

The white trim and barn-red siding of Ranch House Plan 74834<\/strong><\/a> give it a country style flair, but remember that you can finish this home in any color. Other charming details include decorative eve brackets, windowing around the front door and stone steps to the porch. A screened porch and deck offer plenty of privacy for entertaining out back. With 2294 total square feet, more living space means \u201cextra\u201d rooms- a formal dining room and library with built in bookshelf flank the foyer, and the family room stretches before you with a 12.5\u2019 ceiling and a fireplace. An isolated master suite features a 9\u2019 tray ceiling, his and hers walk-in closets, garden tub, shower, double sink and private toilet. Kids or extended family members will be delighted that a private bathroom is included in each bedroom. Cooking is a pleasant experience in the country kitchen with its generous pantry measuring 7.5\u2019 x 5\u2019 for plenty of storage. Right outside of this room is a freezer nook, powder room and laundry room which also opens to the 2 car garage. The staircase leads to bonus space that when finished, adds three more bedrooms, a sitting room, computer center and storage space. This house plan was designed to match Garage Plan 74803<\/strong><\/a> which is a carriage house with upper level living quarters- the perfect guest house or rental apartment.<\/p>\n

The flex room could function as a library, formal dining room or office. Again, the two smaller bedrooms each have a private bathroom and generous walk-in closet, making them qualify as suites. The designer\u2019s attention to comfort is noticed in the details- for example, ceiling fans are drawn on the floor plan for the master suite, family room and even the screened porch. Everything else you would expect in a plan of this size is included- laundry room, powder room and master suite with fully-appointed bath. The unfinished bonus room offers an extra 495 square feet.<\/p>\n
