Our Most Popular Greek Revival House Plan

Greek Revival Style House Plan 98226 offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in 3143 square feet of living space. A soaring roof, tall windows and mottled brick gives the home a solid, timeless appearance.

Main Floor

dining roomComing from the two story foyer, we see room divisions created by the use of columns. From the grand room is a deck / backyard view through an expanse of bowed windows. This would make a fantastic place for children to play outside. You can keep an eye on them while enjoying the fireplace or favorite movie.

The staircase is centered among four rooms to create tasteful separation. After meal prep, move into the dining room for dinner. Looking up, your guests will be impressed by the special ceiling treatments. You will also love eating in the breakfast room. From here, you can see the beautiful vaulted wooden ceilings of the family room.

Also functioning as a mud room when you enter from the porch or garage, the laundry is set up lengthwise. That leaves plenty of room for book bag and coat hooks, not to mention room for the sports enthusiast to drop off equipment. Use the study as a fifth bedroom, office or a lounge- the wet bar is set up as a convenient pass-through to the master bedroom. The powder room is pleasantly discreet by the coat closet in a shallow hallway.

Opulence in the master suite is most evident in the ceiling treatments found in the bedroom and bath. How would you prefer to arrange the bed? Back it into the sunlit bay window, or move it to the opposite wall to enjoy the view. The best part of the suite is a tall, arched picture window by the soaking tub. Also included are two walk in closets, private water closet and double sinks, allowing for “him and her” to have plenty of elbow room!98226-P2

Lower Level

The lower level provides unadulterated space which mirrors the living space above. “Recreation” is just a suggestion! The space measures 15’ by 33’, and it’s removed from the family room (15’ by 25’) by two columns. In other words, this is a vast space where you could set up a billiard table and ball room, not to mention having space for any other passion!

If you are able to fill up the space above, let me draw your attention to the theater room and office. Two bedrooms are also located on this level. The guest bedroom includes a sitting room. We suggest having this room finished to be a private bath.

Upper Level

Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 are located on the uppermost level where the hallway provides a look down into the grand room and foyer. Bedroom 4 has a private bath while bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bath. Vast attic space is available on this level for abundant storage.
